Tracking of metal NP inside the cell nucleus

We show a 3D trajectory of one single gold nanoparticle , during 20 minutes inside the nucleus of a living cell. Top images show a cell with the NPs inside and the control cell without them. These kind of experiments allows following the internal structure of the cell nucleus in physiological conditions. We are setting up a multiphoton microscope with orbital scanning in the lab, in order to continue these experiments.
